In 1997, SUHAAG Group Inc. was created to redefine the rapidly growing South Asian market in Canada with its bold and innovative marketing approach, starting with the SUHAAG Bridal Show. Following a great response from the community with praise for being the first show of its kind in North America, Suhaag Group set out to fill another much-needed void in the marketplace with the introduction of SUHAAG Magazine. 

CHALLENGE

To tell the story of a 20-year-old brand that is a reflection of the South Asian community’s many achievements in Canada. Bring out a bit of organic yet classic flavour evoking the blend with the richness of South Asian wedding culture.

APPROACH

  • Built and defined design strategy across print and social media platforms

  • Black & White imagery was used to create a vintage look

  • Rich yellow spot colour was used to tell the story of Suhaag’s leadership in the distinctive, lucrative South Asian bridal industry. Dusty and speckled background effect was used to create the organic flavour.
